What are the requirements of machining for coating?

The coating of machining is to cover the metal and non-metal surfaces of the machined parts with a protective layer or a decorative layer. So what are the requirements for the coating of the workpiece after machining?
1. The surface of the machined workpiece that needs to be painted must be removed from rust, oxide scale, grease, dust, mud, salt and dirt before painting.
2. Before rust removal, use organic solvent, lye, emulsifier, steam, etc. to remove grease and dirt on the surface of the workpiece.
3. The time interval between the surface to be coated by shot peening or manual rust removal and the primer coating shall not be more than 6h.
4. The surfaces of the riveted parts in contact with each other must be coated with anti-rust paint with a thickness of 30-40 μm before connecting. Lap edges should be closed with paint, putty or adhesive.
5. Repaint due to damaged primer due to machining or welding.
Mechanical processing has the above 5 requirements for painting. The mechanical processing parts should be processed with safety technology management when painting, implement the relevant national standards for painting safety regulations, improve and perfect safety protection measures, and must ensure production safety and personnel. Safe and must meet relevant environmental protection requirements.
