First, the cause of the formation of scorch marks

1. Cavity air cannot be removed in time.

2. Material degradation

a. too high melt temperature;

b. too fast screw speed;

c. The flow channel system is not properly designed.

Second, the improvement method

Mold design

a. Add an exhaust system where it is prone to poor exhaust gas;

b. Increase the size of the main runners, runners, and gates.

2. Process conditions

a. reduce the injection pressure;

b. reduce the injection speed;

c. reduce the screw speed;

d. lower the barrel temperature;

e. Check if the heater and thermocouple are in a normal state.
